It's Been A Busy Day
It has been a beautiful day here in Ohio. The sun has been shining and there is a nice breeze. So far today my farmer (husband) has harvested tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, apples, and potatoes. The apples I made into applesauce. I canned it. The tomatoes were made into tomato juice which I used for homemade vegetable beef soup. I canned 10 quarts of soup. The pumpkins are Sugar Pie Pumkins. I will prepare them for freezing later this week. The potatoes are beautiful this year. I think I will can some of them and prepare the rest for keeping for this winter.

You have been busy! You have more variety to show than me for your day. Beautiful goods! I have 20 qts of whole tomatoes canned (today), plus 6 qts from a few days ago. I haven't done this in awhile - had to relearn the canning process ;-) -tammy
