A New Birth on the Farm

We had a new calf born on our farm yesterday morning! It was a heifer (girl) calf. We raise a few Black Angus cows here on our small farm. We have three cows and one bull. So far, we have had two calves in the last month. We are hoping to have one more from our third cow. Last week we sent two, year old calves, one bull and one steer, down the road to our son's farm to finish fattening them up before they are sold.

Here are a few pictures of our other cows.

Good morning Mary Ann,
I love cows and farm critters! Reminds me of my grandparents' farm. I have such wonderful memories of playing in the barn and helping to feed the calves. The new calf is so cute! Thanks for stopping by for tea and I hope you're having a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Mary Ann,
What a joy it must be living on a farm..I have always wanted to live on a farm ever since I can remember. I know there is a lot of hard work, but I still think it would be grand. The baby calf is adorable..
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
